Overview

While the Chardham Yatra is a must visit pilgrimage or every Hindu, the Do dham of Kedarnath & Badrinath lay special significance to every devotee. South India Tour and Travels Pvt Ltd identifies this junction and brings forth their 7 nights 8 days do dham Yatra beginning and terminating at Delhi. Devotees arrive at Delhi and travel to Haridwar. In the evening they pay homage to the scared Ganga Aarti on Har ki Pauri ghat. Next day, pilgrims drive to Guptkashi from Haridwar. The rest of the day is spent in exploring tis small, yet majestic hill town. Next morning, devotees travel to Sonprayag from where they trek up 20 km up to Kedarnath. On arrival, pilgrims can stay in the govt. camps or lodges or overnight halt. The following morning, they need to reach Kedarnath temple by 4.45 am or Abhishek to Lord Shiva. After Garbha Griha darshan and puja, they trek down to Sonprayag and off to Rudraprayag. Day 5 with South India Tour and Travels Pvt Ltd begins with a drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Take a holy bath in Tapt Kund and offer prayers at Badrinath temple (Lord Vishnu). Pilgrims night halt in Badrinath. Next morning, they go for morning darshan and Badrinath sightseeing. That evening they descend to Rishikesh. This package concludes with a return to Haridwar and final drop at Delhi railway station or airport.

Day 1: Arrive Haridwar - Guptkashi (205 Km / 7 to 8 hrs)

This morning arrive in Haridwar and drive for Guptkashi. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the Guptkashi town. Dinner and Overnight stay in Guptkashi hotel/Camps.
